The beautiful double room offered a fine sea view, especially with the comfortable bedding that ensured a restful night. The location provided easy access to local attractions and made exploring the area easy. The limited parking arrangements during peak hours presented a challenge, and at times the staff seemed overwhelmed during busy periods. Dining was a highlight, with delicious hot dogs served in a lovely restaurant setting.

Positive, We stayed in a beautiful double room for 5 nights. The view of the harbour was fantastic! The place was impeccably clean, and we loved enjoying a daily English breakfast with our chihuahua. Great free parking on Marine Drive until March sealed the deal 😁

Had a great experience during our short family stay. The room was huge, beautifully maintained with original mahogany furniture and a stunning view of the harbour. I particularly enjoyed the comfy king-size bed and the modern bathroom featuring a lovely free-standing bath. While I encountered a couple of minor issues with some lights, the attentive host assured us they'd be resolved promptly. The location is ideal for exploring local attractions like Scarborough Castle and St Marys Church, all within a short walk.

Parking is a real hassle here. There's only one small lot nearby that fills up quickly, often forcing guests to park far away. Some bathrooms had odd smells, made things less than comfortable. I've also heard of lights and TVs not functioning properly, which shouldn't happen. And while the potential for a cozy stay is there, some guests felt the need for more dog-friendly amenities, like treats or a doggy menu.

Ivy by the sea was a fantastic choice for our summer getaway. The beautiful double room with a sea view was spacious and cozy, definitely exceeding our expectations! We had an enjoyable stay, especially with our small dog being welcome too.

Amazing place! The room was spacious with a great view of the boats. It had a cozy seating area, tv, and a cute vanity dresser. The bathroom was nice with free toiletries and a shower. Breakfast was delish, and the staff were super kind, especially with our chihuahua!
